The original Home Inspector Training Academy provides vocational training for inspectors of all levels and backgrounds. The 2-day course, How to Become a Home Inspector, has been presented in major cities around the country since 1992. The full 10-day curriculum is taught at the Bethesda, Maryland facility in a two-week as well as a Season of Saturdays format. HITA provides certification and continuing education for state licensing and NEHA Radon Certification, as well as advanced classes in Architectural Physics, Report Writing, and Legal Aspects of the Profession.
