Southampton, Pa. (February 25, 2009) – The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) named Marvin Goldstein today as the 2009 ASHI national secretary.

Goldstein is a resident of Southampton, Pa. and since 1970 has been CEO of Building Inspection Service, Inc. (BISCO), which has more than 100 inspectors inspecting properties in all 50 States. He is also a founding member and former director and officer of the Tri-State ASHI chapter. As a charter member of ASHI, he helped found the Society in 1976, and previously served ASHI on a national level as a council representative, co-chairperson of the legislative committee and a member of the board of directors. During the last 39 years, Goldstein has introduced many innovations to the inspection industry.

Bill Richardson, 2009 ASHI president said, “Since 1976, Marvin Goldstein has benefited the building inspection industry and the American consumer by promoting ASHI inspectors as the “gold standard” of the inspection industry. I am looking forward to working with him this year.”
