Ronald Rusch of Rusch Associates in Kansas City, Mo., has been awarded the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) 2006 President’s Award.

Hand-picked by 2006 ASHI President Joe Corsetto, the Award was presented in Anaheim, Calif., during the Society’s Annual Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony.  The ceremony was held in conjunction with InspectionWorld 2007, the premier annual conference of professional home inspectors.

Established in 1989, the award is presented by the outgoing ASHI President to someone who has rendered outstanding service to ASHI.

“The hard work and dedication of this individual in his leadership role is a great asset to ASHI and its Chapters,” said Corsetto. “His commitment to working with the Chapter Relations Committee and providing leadership to achieve their goals resulted in a very successful event.”

Rusch, whose election to the ASHI Board of Directors was also announced at InspectionWorld, served as the 2006 Chapter Relations Committee Chairman. Since joining ASHI, Rusch has served on the Society’s National Membership Committee and the Public Relations Committee. He has held various Chapter leadership positions and has presented previously at an ASHI national convention. He displays the highest level of dedication that truly inspires people who work with him,” added Corsetto.

The ASHI Difference

While the majority of homeowners are on the right track with obtaining a home inspection for buying, selling and maintenance purposes, the difference in quality, and therefore, the protection of a homeowners' financial interests, can best be realized when the inspection is performed by an experienced, professional home inspector.
