Are you aware you have a powerful lobbyist and Political Action Committee (PAC) working for you in Washington, D.C.? The real estate arena is a highly regulated industry in which ASHI must maneuver to make your views known as a professional home inspector. The inspection profession is a small player in this giant of a field. Nevertheless, our lobbying efforts and political action greatly magnify our impact -- and your voice -- on public policies affecting home inspection. I hope that you have followed the significant progress we’ve made over the years to obtain recognition of the home inspection profession. I’m writing to ask for your financial help in funding InspectPAC. If you were one of the many inspectors who previously contributed toward either the PAC or its administration, I thank you and ask that you please consider doing so again this year. If you haven’t contributed before, I’m asking you to do so at this time. Please take a moment to review ASHI’s Federal Policy Agenda to learn of our current agenda and our most recent progress. InspectPAC is a key tool to support the kind of pro-home inspection action detailed in this report. Further, IspectPAC:
The InspectPAC Information Sheet answers frequently asked questions about the PAC and how it operates. I encourage you to read through this material and reply with your 2005 PAC Contribution. The Contribution Form is available here to print and return. While only personal contributions are allowable for the PAC, company contributions can be made to the PAC Administration Fund. I appreciate your time, attention and support of ASHI, InspectPAC and the Profession. Should you have any questions or comments, please send me an Very truly yours,
