Trusses and I-joists command an increasing role in new residential construction. Traditional wood framing methods do not necessarily conform to truss and I-joist installation specifications and, as a result, many construction violations occur.  This session will present common mistakes, risk vulnerable areas of truss and I-joist installations, along with proper source documentation. The discussion centers on actual photographs and original illustrations.
