Inspecting Essentials

This session will begin with a discussion of basic refrigeration. Though the presentation will review the operation of both air-to-air and geothermal heat pump systems, air-to-air equipment is the primary focus of this class. An outdoor unit and air handler will be in the classroom during the session. Along with projected images of the on-site equipment and its components, a slide presentation and lecture will be used to examine installation concerns, cover common defects and offer inspection tips. All the equipment used during a session will be available on the exhibition floor before and after the class for inspectors to examine.
