Although decks have been a common part of residential construction for several generations, recent research has shown that major safety aspects of deck construction do not and never have, met code performance specifications.  This session will focus on the most up-to-date deck construction requirements and documentation, common modes of deck failures, and common construction errors.  The discussion centers on actual photographs and original illustrations.
