Education

Home inspectors will be provided with 45 education courses in the Inspection Essentials, Advanced Learning, Specialization, Diversification and Business Management tracks. All courses are eligible for ASHI CE credits, and many courses will also earn attendees CE credits towards their state licensing or certification requirements. Full Conference and Conference Education registrants will receive 20 ASHI CE credits.

Exhibits

Alternating with the educational sessions will be the Exhibitor Expo, showcasing the products and services of more than 50 inspection-related product and service providers. When not in class, attendees will enjoy breakfasts, lunches and breaks in the Expo Hall. This year the Expo will open at 12:00 noon on Sunday, January 17 with the annual ribbon-cutting ceremony. From 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. that evening, attendees will experience the Opening Night Reception – an evening of wining, dining and visiting with the exhibitors.
Software will once again be “showcased” at special one-hour Vendor Showcase breakout sessions held during Expo hours – and this year, more than just software vendors will take the stage, because the 20 showcase sessions will be open to all exhibiting vendors who wish to take advantage of the opportunity to showcase new product and service features.

Networking

As you recall last year in Orlando, the President’s Gala was held on-site in the ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Everyone had a fabulous time. This year, we will again be hosting the President's Gala in the conference hotel – on the 26th floor of Bally’s in the beautiful Skyview Ballroom, with dazzling views of the city out the windows. This will be an event that you will not want to miss.

Business Meetings

The changing of the guard — new ASHI officers and directors installed — will again take place during the Annual Breakfast Meeting and Awards Ceremony. Last year this meeting was moved from a lunch meeting to a breakfast, and everyone we heard from after the Orlando conference said to continue this meeting as a breakfast event. That frees up the lunch hours for plenty of time to visit in the Expo Hall over a casual lunch.
