Would you like to become a Level-1 RESNET Home Energy Survey Professional (HESP) at InspectionWorld? A Level-1 Home Energy Survey Professional (HESP) is qualified to conduct a walk-through assessment of the general energy performance problems and make basic recommendations for improvements or further analysis.
1. Take this self-paced 16-hour HESP e-Learning course before arrival at InspectionWorld Atlanta to prepare for the RESNET HESP exam to be proctored at the Conference. The course is divided into 10 sessions and covers all the foundational building energy and construction science to begin a career as a home energy professional. Take up to 45 days before arriving in Atlanta to complete the class.
2. Onsite you will take the proctored RESNET exam by appointment on Tuesday, January 25 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
3. Soon after the student registers for the class they will be contacted by HET with details on scheduling the exam.

BPI and RESNET HOME ENERGY PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION

Would you like to become BOTH a BPI Building Analyst (BA) and a RESNET Home Energy Survey Professional (HESP) at InspectionWorld Atlanta?
This course offering has been specially tailored by the Home Energy Team Institute to fit into the InspectionWorld program.
Note: This course will require you to be in Atlanta on Monday, January 24; Tuesday, January 25 and possibly (depending upon when exams can be scheduled) on Wednesday, January 26 in the evening and Saturday, January 29. Soon after the student registers for the class they will be contacted by HET with full details on scheduling the field exam and the RESNET and BPI written exams.
As an experienced home inspector, you will be able to complete this 32-hour course as follows:

Complete 24 hours of self-paced e-Learning modules and study the 90-minute energy audit and field exam training video at home prior to arrival. (26 hours)

Take the Hands-on Diagnostic Field Training on Monday, January 24 (8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.) This will be offsite.

Take the RESNET Written HESP exam by appointment on Tuesday January 25 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Take the 2-hour BPI Practical Field Exam on either Tuesday January 25 or Saturday January 29 (by appointment, first come-first serve). This will be offsite.

Review and take the BPI Written Exam either Tuesday January 25 between 8:00 a.m and 5:00 p.m. or Wednesday evening January 26 after 6:30 p.m. by appointment. (2 hours)
The Home Energy Team Institute Guarantee: If for some reason you fail an exam, you can take the training again for no additional fee until you pass.
