- a degree in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee
- certified by The National Environmental Health Association(NEHA) - National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) to perform inspections for Radon gas and to inspect the installation of Radon gas remediation systems
- certified by the Exterior Design Institute to inspect Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS), also known as STO or Synthetic Stucco on homes.
