Honestly, there are plenty of inspectors that are thorough enough to discover building defects.You need someone who also can tell you why defects are present. Was it poor installation, damage, lack of maintenance or just the end of its expected life?
Knowing why is needed to know what needs to be done to return this to good function & longevity. Who corrects this defect? Will it be a major or minor cost?
This all must be conveyed in language & in a report that you can understand. Without all these, you�ve not received what you need!
