Eric Barker is a fulltime ASHI Inspector. He has been in business since 1993 and continuously surpasses both ASHI's and the State of Illinois' yearly education requirements. His company, Moraine Woods Consulting, Inc., is privately owned and has no affiliations with any real estate groups or organizations. Nor does the Company pay to be on any referral lists, a requirement that many real estate offices require. Moraine Woods is a company of one - this means that clients talk to only the inspector himself. There is no out of state corporate office or answering service to work around when dealing with the company. The inspection report is short and concise. It gets directly into the "nitty gritty" without bogging down with disclaimers and soft information.
